Who we are
Milligan & McCann Football Academy provides children's football and multi-sports coaching across the Fylde coast. For anything in this policy, contact us on 07703 213 979 or millymilly21@hotmail.com.
What we collect, and why
When you create a parent account we collect your name, email, phone number and password. When you add a child we collect their name, date of birth, school, emergency contacts, who may collect them, and — with your explicit consent — allergies, medical conditions and additional needs. We collect this for one reason: to run safe sessions and reach you quickly if we ever need to.
Children's medical information
Health information is special category data. We only record it with your explicit consent, given when you complete your child's profile. It is shown to coaches on the session register so they can act fast in an emergency, and to nobody else. You can update or remove it at any time from your account.
Photo permission
You choose at booking whether your child may appear in photos on our website and social media. If you say no, our register flags it at every session and your child will not appear. You can change your answer at any time.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems — we only see confirmation that a booking is paid.
Where your data lives
Account, child and booking records are stored securely with our database provider (Supabase) in a UK data centre (London). Access is restricted: you can only see your own family's records, and only academy admins can see registers.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and attendance records while your child attends the academy and for a reasonable period afterwards, in line with safeguarding good practice. Incident records are kept for longer as safeguarding guidance requires. If you close your account, we delete profile data we no longer need.
Who we share it with
Nobody, beyond the services that make the site work (Supabase for the database, Stripe for payments, our hosting provider). We never sell data, and we never share children's information with third parties for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about your family, correct anything that's wrong, or ask us to delete it. Most of this you can do yourself from your account; for anything else, contact us and we'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in to your account. No advertising or tracking cookies.
